Hearing some of my favorite pieces, as well as some cool ones new to me at the Arcadia Unified School District Vertical Band concert.
HIghlights:
- Foothills Middle School playing Korean Folk Songs, including "Arirang"
- First Avenue Middle School playing Shaker Hymn (AKA "Simple Gifts")
- Dana Middle School playing "Fluster, Cluster, Bluster March"
- Arcadia High School warming up with the Navy Hymn, and ending with Frank Tichelli's "Vesuvius"
